MOON BAG RUFFLE
The OCEAN SCHOOL in Cape Town, South Africa, prepares young people between the ages of 16 and 18 for careers in environmental and marine conservation – with practical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge.
It is organized by the non-profit association Mon Coeur and offers practical training in maritime skills such as swimming, diving, and marine ecology, as well as vocational training in the fields of business management and ecotourism.
The program serves as a learning path that promotes environmental awareness and opens up career opportunities in the fields of nature conservation and tourism for young people from disadvantaged communities such as townships.
30 people have already completed their training to become OCEAN AMBASSADORS. The OCEAN SCHOOL opens doors in the townships and creates career paths for future tour guides and community leaders. For its projects, the OCEAN SCHOOL has received significant financial support from GOT BAG.
