WHO ARE PLASTIC FISCHER

Cologne-based Plastic Fischer has been dedicated to the fight against plastic pollution in rivers and oceans since 2019. Using innovative technologies, special boats, nets, and fences, they collect plastic waste from waters in India and Indonesia without endangering marine wildlife. Since April 2021, employees have fished more than 1.7 million kg of plastic waste out of rivers! The collected waste is subsequently processed and recycled so that it does not re-enter the environment.

In addition, Plastic Fischer is involved in educational and awareness work to raise awareness of the issue and contribute to the reduction of plastic waste. Through their work, they make a positive impact on our environment and we want to support them! As part of our partnership, we have so far financed a total of five TrashBooms and, this year, the collection of 10,000 kg of plastic waste. We are proud to take action together against the advancing pollution of our oceans.
