WHO IS THE BLUE MIND

Since 2018, The Blue Mind has been dedicated to the ocean – even in places where the ocean seems far away. True to the motto “Understanding the ocean” and their background as marine biologists, they raise awareness for the protection of the oceans. Through films, experiments and practical workshops, they help children, teenagers and adults engage with complex topics such as plastic waste, climate change and overfishing.

It is not just about learning theoretical facts, but above all about finding practical ways to get involved in everyday life.

In 2026, The Blue Mind can organize ten more events for children and young people, which will be funded by our donation. We are grateful for their educational work with the next generation – especially since the workshops take place near our headquarters in Mainz.
