WHO IS BORIS HERRMANN

Skipper Boris Herrmann not only travels the world with Team Malizia but also uses his sailing adventures to educate the public about scientific topics and climate change. Onboard, the team records water values and collects data to show how climate change is damaging our oceans.

He drew particular attention when he crossed the Atlantic together with Greta Thunberg (2019) and took part in the Vendée Globe solo round-the-world race (2020).
