CERTIFIED B CORPORATION™
B Corp stands for "Benefit Corporation" or "Benefit for All" and refers to a global movement of companies committed to creating an inclusive, just and sustainable economy. The B Corp™ certification is awarded by the internationally recognized non-profit organization B Lab™ to companies that actively incorporate social and environmental responsibility into their business practices. Founded in 2006 in the United States, there are now over 6,000 certified B Corporations™ from 153 industries in more than 80 countries. Prominent examples include Patagonia, Ecover, and Ben & Jerry's.
Our goal is to continuously evolve and demonstrate that profitability and positive impact can go hand in hand. It is important to us that our business practices align with our values, and we strive to operate transparently, ethically and responsibly. We are dedicated to ensuring fair working conditions throughout our supply chain and minimizing our environmental footprint. By continuously improving our processes and collaborating with other companies, we aim to create a more sustainable and equitable future for everyone.
As part of the comprehensive B Impact Assessment™, we provided transparent evidence and statements in response to approximately 200 questions across the five key areas of corporate governance, employees, social engagement, environment, and customers. After a two-year process, we successfully obtained B Corp certification, validating our impact to date. You can find our results here.
The next certification process will take place after three years. Until then, we will continue to work on ourselves, remain driven to support the B Corp mission, and collaborate with the B Corp community to drive positive change toward a responsible future for businesses.
Ocean Bound Plastic Certified
The standard developed by Zero Plastic Oceans addresses the areas where the threat to our oceans is greatest: it ensures that plastic is collected in regions without waste-management infrastructure before it can reach the ocean – and under fair, strictly monitored conditions. The OBP label verifies full traceability and compliance with social standards such as fair wages and safe working conditions throughout the entire supply chain.
Since November 2025, we at GOT BAG GmbH have held the OBP Scope Certificate. It is independent proof of our transparent working practices and confirms that our internal processes meet the highest requirements for traceability. While the main material of our PET and nylon products already consists of recycled Ocean Bound Plastic, we have now created the basis for labelling this on the product in a certified manner. Important: only products that carry the OBP label and the corresponding information are officially certified.
PETA-APPROVED VEGAN
Unsere Produkte sind als PETA-Approved Vegan zertifiziert.
Wir haben uns dazu verpflichtet, keinerlei Tiere oder tierische Produkte als Bestandteile bei der Herstellung und Verarbeitung unserer Produkte zu verwenden. Diese Verpflichtung gilt sowohl für die Gegenwart als auch für die Zukunft und stellt sicher, dass unsere Produkte tierversuchsfrei und vegan bleiben.
Die People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) ist die größte Tierschutzorganisation der Welt und hat über 6,5 Millionen Mitglieder und Unterstützer. Ihr Fokus liegt auf vier Hauptbereichen, in denen Tiere intensiv und über lange Zeiträume leiden: Labore, die Lebensmittelindustrie, der Bekleidungshandel und die Unterhaltungsbranche. PETA setzt sich auch aktiv mit verschiedenen anderen Problemen auseinander, darunter die grausame Tötung von Nagetieren, Vögeln und Tieren, die oft als "Schädlinge" bezeichnet werden, sowie die Grausamkeit gegenüber Haustieren.
Das Logo "PETA-Approved Vegan" soll Kleidung, Accessoires, Möbel und Heimdekorationen hervorheben, die aus veganen Alternativen zu tierischen Materialien wie Leder, Pelz, Wolle, Seide, Federn oder Knochen hergestellt sind. Es hilft Verbrauchern, vegane Artikel auf einen Blick zu erkennen und Einkäufe zu tätigen, die mit ihren Werten übereinstimmen.
We as GOT BAG GmbH are certified to the Global Recycling Standard (GRS), certified by Control Union Certifications CB-CUC- 1298685. Only the products which carry the GRS label and claim are certified. The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) verifies recycled material and tracks it from the source to the final product.
