HOW OUR PLASTIC TRACKER WORKS

Every kilogram we count with our Plastic Tracker is registered and verified via Cleanhub and their tracking app, verified by TÜV SÜD.

1. Community collection point

The plastic waste is brought by collectors from the communities to a collection point. There, the collector ID is scanned via the Cleanhub app for assignment, and the plastic waste is weighed, photographed and registered.

2. GOT BAG Warehouse

The waste is registered again in the app after arrival at the warehouse and then sorted and compressed.

3. Recycling or thermal recovery

Depending on the type, the plastic is passed on to our partner for recycling or thermal recovery. As soon as the plastic has been processed, the corresponding quantities are registered by the partner in the app, including a certificate.

4. Plastic Tracker

After the recycled or processed plastic has been certified in the app, the GOT BAG Plastic Tracker counts up by the corresponding amount.
