Who is the Ocean Hub?

The OCEAN HUB is a nature-based educational program in Cape Town, South Africa, designed for young adults  transitioning from school to work to improve their employability and entrepreneurship skills within the green and blue economies.

Operated by the non-profit organization Mon Coeur, it provides practical training in ocean-based skills—such as swimming, diving, and marine ecology—alongside professional development in business management and eco-tourism guiding.

The program serves as a transformative learning pathway that fosters environmental stewardship and opens up sustainable career opportunities in conservation and tourism for youth from under-resourced communities.

OCEAN HUB x GOT BAG

Ocean experts. Future leaders.

The Ocean Hub is an extension from Mon Couer’s Inspiration Hub, where 30 children graduated as Ocean Ambassadors in 2025.

The Ocean Hub creates career pathways from future eco-guides and marine educators to surf instructors and has received significant funding from GOT BAG for their activities.
