HOW OUR PLASTIC TRACKER WORKS
Every kg counted with our plastic tracker is registered and verified through Cleanhub and their TÜV SÜD verified tracing app.
1. Community collection point
Plastic waste is brought by collectors from the communities to a collection point. There, the collector's ID is scanned for assignment via the Cleanhub app, the plastic waste is weighed, photographed, and registered.
2. GOT BAG warehouse
Upon arrival at the warehouse, the waste is registered again in the app, and then it is sorted and pressed.
3. Recycling or thermal recovery
Depending on the type, the plastic is passed on to our partner for recycling or thermal recovery. Once the plastic has been processed, the respective amounts are registered by the partner in the app, including a certificate.
4. Plastic Tracker
Once the plastic has been recycled or thermally processed and certified in the app, the GOT BAG Plastic Tracker updates to reflect the processed quantity accordingly.
