THE MATERIAL
RE:PET®
RE:PET is our recycled polyester fabric, utilizing PET bottles collected through GOT BAG Indonesia’s clean-up program and Ocean Bound Plastic-certified PET bottles sourced from our recycling partner, both based in Indonesia. In our commitment to making a positive impact, we transform discarded plastic into our RE:PET fabric and use it in most of our products. Want to know more? The GOT BAG Indonesia foundation runs a clean-up program that collects Ocean Impact Plastic from coastal households and environments, rivers, and the ocean.

The PET portion is separated, cleaned, and shredded into flakes before being processed into pellets.

The pellets are blended with certified Ocean Bound Plastic from our recycling partner and spun into yarn.

The recycled yarn is woven into RE:PET, our signature polyester fabric used in most GOT BAG products.
